YouTube's "Satisfy the Cat": A Great Starting Place for Understanding UCD
Whether you have recently been introduced to that new little acronym--UCD--or you have been working with it for a few months, you might find interesting one of the first videos I came across which helped to put the concept of User-Centered Design into a context for me. I appreciate that the video acknowledged the challenge that we face in satisfying two audiences. For us it can even be three audiences. It sometimes seems like the more innovative we are in providing resources that are truly meaningful for children and teens, the more we have to work at convincing the adult buyers.
